Upgrade StorageZotero 10.0.7: "Attach Link to File" freezes on a specific local folder (Windows 11)
I'm experiencing a potentially related issue with Zotero 10.0.7 (64-bit) on Windows 11 (build 26200).
When using "Attach Link to File", the file picker freezes, but only when accessing one specific local folder synchronized with pCloud. File Explorer and Word can open the same folder normally. Ctrl + Shift + drag successfully creates linked attachments, and the problem persists in Zotero's Troubleshooting Mode.
The folder contains approximately 3,563 files (19.5 GB). Changing the sorting or grouping doesn't resolve the issue.
My last Zotero entry before this problem appeared was added on October 29, five days ago. I recently updated Zotero to 10.0.7, and while I cannot confirm that the issue started immediately after the update, I am almost positive it did.
Could this be related to the file picker issue discussed here?

A quick update: I tested Zotero 10.0.6, and the freeze persists. Disabling plugins, Windows indexing, hardware acceleration, and pCloud icon overlays didn't help either.
I also analyzed a Windows memory dump captured during the freeze. The affected thread was executing Windows Shell layout operations (`explorerframe.dll`, `DirectUI::Element::_FlushLayout`), suggesting the problem may involve the native file dialog's handling of this large folder (3,563 PDFs).
Does this help identify the issue, or is there anything else I should check?
