Multiple dates

I have numerous citations from publications that have multiple years: 1665-1666, for example. I could show these in ProCite, but they get truncated to just the first year in Zotero.
Is there a way to work around this, or could someone tweek the program?

In Zotero 10, you can add "issued: 1665-1666" to the Extra field to get a date range in a citation. In the Zotero 11 beta, date ranges and other date variations in the real Date field will show properly in citations (though other parts of Zotero, like the Year column, will still show the first year).
  • The Date field (at least in the current beta, this is pretty recent) accepts dates in a subset of EDTF (basically ISO 8601) format, so a date range can be entered as 1665/1666 and will be recognized by citation styles, uncertain dates are ~1665, etc.
  • (It's not exactly a subset. We support common conventions like 1665-1666, even though that's not valid in EDTF.)
  • Thanx.
It has something to do with changing the date of the new year...
And old editions of "The Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society" back when they were published somewhat irregularly.
