File uploads fail with 403 AccessDenied (s3:PutObject) — userID 898345
Hi,
Since early November, every file upload to my Zotero storage fails. The Web API authorizes the upload, but the S3 step returns:
403 AccessDenied — User: arn:aws:sts::296981517201:assumed-role/dataserver/i-093f230dd70beeff4 is not authorized to perform: s3:PutObject
- User: ffgomez (userID 898345)
- Storage plan: 2000 MB, about 1106 MB used (55%), auto-renews 1 May 2027. Not a quota problem.
- API key has full library and file write access.
- Fails consistently on 1, 2 and 3 November 2026.
- Each failed attempt leaves an empty attachment item (e.g. NTCCVFFQ, VHHK7X5N, 4D6NES3Q).
Could you check the S3 permissions for the dataserver role on my account?
Thanks,
Fernando Gómez Sancha
