WebDAV Sync does not work

edited today at 3:24pm
I have a problem setting up WebDAV.
I entered all the credentials and receive the error message:
"Der Server *** konnte nicht erreicht werden." (= The server *** could not be reached.)

I am using Zotero on Linux. My WebDAV backend (Nextcloud) is located on the local network. It is reachable from my Laptop (e. g., browser, Nextcloud client), including a valid TLS certificate.
I use the plugins ZotMoov and Better BibLaTeX.
I have never used Zotero storage.

Debug log (I stripped some technical and personal information):

  • Please just provide a Report ID or Debug ID rather than raw technical details. NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE in your thread title is unrelated.

This is just NS_ERROR_UNKNOWN_HOST — a DNS failure looking up your WebDAV server. You'll need to debug that on your end.
  • Thanks for the quick reply. I submitted a Debug Log: D668157058

I guessed so. The thing is: The DNS for the very host is working everywhere else on the same maschine (CLIs like `dig` or `nslookup`, Browser, Nextcloud Client). So it seems to be an Zotero issue. It does only resolve to IPv4, no AAAA DNS-record is set. Could that be a problem?

Sorry, we can't debug this for you on Linux. Obviously would be something about your Zotero install (sandbox, etc.).
