Storage page doesn't reflect changes to size of collection

I'm using Zotero sync across several devices (Linux, Windows, 2xAndroid). I was cleaning up my collection because I'm approaching my quota, so I removed snapshots and compressed large pdf files. I synced my library, which is set to sync and I can see the changes reflected on other devices (snapshots have disappeared, for instance), but https://www.zotero.org/settings/storage still shows my quota as almost full and displays this message: Last Zotero client sync: 3 weeks ago.

Thanks. I totally forgot about the trash. But shouldn't the compressed files syncing show? I compressed the PDFs with an external tool and they were overwritten.

Also, why would the page say I last synced 3 weeks ago?

The "3 weeks" was a bug, fixed now.
