Recursive colletions and library root

The behavior of Zotero pane and Insert Citation dialog seems inconsistent if recursiveCollections is set to false.

If I highlight the library root and search for an article in the insert citation dialog, the search covers all collections. If I do this same in the Zotero pane, the search covers only articles that are not associated with any collections.

Also I would like to have more clear instructions on where to report bugs ;)

Given that this has actually been a feature request for about 3 years, it's safe to say this is not something Zotero does. And recursiveCollections=false is both the default mode and the only mode we test, so that's irrelevant. Restart Firefox, disable other Firefox extensions, try again. If you can reproduce it, provide a screenshot or screencast.

    What's not clear about that?
  • Seems that I cannot reproduce this condition. Weird, but good that it is now gone.

Two things: I was expecting to see "reporting bugs" as an item on the main support page. http://www.zotero.org/support/ Also it is not clear if bugs should go to feature requests forum or somewhere else.
  • Well, "Getting Help and Troubleshooting" is the third item on the support page, and there's a "Troubleshooting" forum category (though the category really makes very little difference). "Troubleshooting" is usually a far more apt description than "bug reporting".
