Upgrade StorageZotero LibreOffice integration fails with MalformedVersionException on macOS
Hello Zotero team,
I'm unable to install or enable the Zotero LibreOffice integration on my Mac.
**System details**
- macOS 27.0.1
- Apple Silicon (ARM64)
- Zotero 10.0.6
- Zotero LibreOffice Integration 9.0.2
- LibreOffice 26.8.1.1 and 26.2.6.3
- Java JDK 25.0.5.0.2 and 27.0.1.0.2

**Error**
The Zotero “Reinstall LibreOffice Add-in” operation fails with “Installation Failed.”
When I try to enable the extension in LibreOffice, I get:
`C++ code threw N1Oifw_plugin25MalformedVersionExceptionE: std::exception`
The extension manager also reports: “The status of this extension is unknown.”
The Zotero error log includes:
`PathUtils.join: Could not append to path: NS_ERROR_FILE_UNRECOGNIZED_PATH`
and repeated messages:
`unopkg at /Applications/LibreOffice.app/Contents/MacOS/unopkg failed to install`
**Troubleshooting already attempted**
- Reinstalled the LibreOffice add-in through Zotero.
- Tried both LibreOffice installations separately.
- Removed and reinstalled the extension.
- Tried Java 25 and Java 27.
- Confirmed that both JDK installations contain `java`, `javac`, and `jar`.
- Tested a temporary LibreOffice profile; installation still failed.
Could you please help identify the cause of this error and recommend a fix?
