Upgrade StorageZotero crashes on fast-scrolling PDFs in the built-in reader (Windows)
OS: Windows 11 26200.9711, x64
Zotero: 10.0.6 and 11.0-beta.1+b0db83d9d — both affected
Repro: open any PDF in the reader, scroll quickly with the wheel (or PageDown repeatedly) → crash within seconds. Also crashes when restoring reader tabs at startup. Reproduces in Troubleshooting Mode with all plugins disabled.
Crash: Application Error 1000, faulting module xul.dll, exception 0x80000003 (breakpoint). In 11.0-beta.1, three dumps all at xul.dll+0x494AA58.
The string at that address is MOZ_CRASH(Should not end up in ScriptedProxyHandler::boxedValue_unbox) (js/src/proxy/ScriptedProxyHandler.cpp:1284) — the signature of Mozilla bug 1417962 (js::ScriptedProxyHandler::boxedValue_unbox).
Control: the same PDF scrolls smoothly in Zen/Firefox on the same machine; Zotero on Fedora does not crash.
