Upgrade StorageLost Zotero Sync
Hi all,
I used to have my Zotero library synced under an old institutional email address. That email address is now shut down, I've forgotten the password to that account, and I'm effectively locked out. I changed computers a while ago, and manually copied my library to my new laptop where they are locally stored.
I would like to sync my library, but when I copied my library is came with my old account credentials attached (but still not logged in). If I try to switch accounts to sync my library, Zotero tells me it will erase all the files in my library.
I've tried uploading my whole library to Google Drive, setting up sync on the new account, and re-downloading the whole library but it recognizes it as belonging to the old account.
How do I work around this and sync my current library on the new account? I have many articles stored, and can't afford to start from scratch.
