Upgrade StorageSafari connector causes page reload loop and “A problem repeatedly occurred” crash
Hello, I am currently running Zotero 10.0.6 on my Mac with MacOS Tahoe 26.2 and the Safari connector causes webpages to reload nonstop until the page ultimately crashes with the error message from Safari "A problem repeatedly occured". Disabling the extension stops the crashes a loads pages normally.
Here are the lines from my debug log on a page that reloaded and then crashed (nature.com article).
Right before the page reloaded by itself, this was logged:
Injecting translation scripts into 249108103174 https://sgtm.nature.com/_/service_worker/6a60/sw_iframe.html?origin=https://www.nature.com&1p=1 - https://www.nature.com/articles/s41559-023-02001-3
Then this appeared without me doing anything:
Connector_Browser: onFrameLoaded for https://www.nature.com/articles/s41559-023-02001-3; https://www.nature.com/articles/s41559-023-02001-3
The detection ran again, and then this was the last line in the log before the page crashed:
Injecting translation scripts into 296352743429 https://sgtm.nature.com/_/service_worker/6a60/sw_iframe.html?origin=https://www.nature.com&1p=1 - https://www.nature.com/articles/s41559-023-02001-3
The same thing happened in an earlier log on a different nature.com article, and on cell.com the log ended with this:
Inject: Timed out 25769803794 - https://www.cell.com/current-biology/fulltext/S0960-9822(26)01265-0 after 10000ms
I have no idea what the issue could be I haven't changed anything about my computer (updates, new extensions). Please help or tell me how I can debug this issue.
