Backup to pCloud issue

I decided to backup my entire Zotero directory to pCloud. I also then wanted to test the backup later, so I downloaded it from pCloud and compared it (file by file) to my local Zotero directory. It seems that, in the upload process, pCloud removes all hidden files, including the various Zotero ones that begin with a dot (e.g., `.zotero-reader-state`, `.zotero-ft-info`, etc.). That is, while these hidden files are all present on my local copy, they are not present in the copy uploaded to and then downloaded from pCloud.

My question is this: If I had to restore my Zotero library using only a backup copy stored on pCloud, would the loss of those hidden files hinder the restoration in any way? Would the loss of those files hinder the function of the restored library and/or damage any of the items in the database or the attachments in the `storage` folder?

It's a pity that pCloud doesn't seem to do an exact duplication of the local data directory, but I'm just wondering how concerned I should be given that this is one way in which I am backing up my full Zotero library.
