API file uploads are failing with "403 AccessDenied"

I am using Zotero for my writing and research. I also use AI to search and review literature, am using the API to organize my Zotero library.

I have 2000 MB of space and am using only 1851 MB.

Beginning around October 3-7, 2026, API file uploads began failing with "403 AccessDenied" from S3, Request ID GF3XWX8S6EB5FNFZ.

The key has read write access and I have sufficient space.

Any suggestions for how to solve this problem?

    This would be some problem with your upload script — S3 is rejecting the upload request after the Zotero API approves it. You'll need to debug this yourself.

    (Note that API questions should be posted to zotero-dev, not here, though we can't help with custom code like this.)
