I can not see my tabs and I am automatically at the trash tab

This only applies to my Macbook, I can still see all my tabs and literature on my iPad. I can not use any features such as the magic broom stick. As you can see, they are a lighter shade of grey than usual. I have tried reinstalling the application, but nothing has changed. I would really appreciate your help.

You closed the collections pane. View → Layout → Collections Pane
