Restarting CMoS full note bib info with each chapter

I'm using the traditional CMoS footnote style, with full bibliographic info at the first use of a citation and a shortened note after that. If one has compiled the chapters into a book, is there a way to have the full bib info reappear when a work is cited again in a later chapter? Or is the only option to generate the notes in each chapter and then copy and paste the chapters into the book?
