Citation search

The recent citation dialogue update has completely broken my workflow. I used to quickly type a specific citation key (like Buckley2009) to pull up the exact paper I needed. Now, typing a citation key doesn't work. I am forced to type out a full string like Buckley et al. 2009, which then floods me with a massive, unorganised list of irrelevant results. It is no longer intuitive and significantly slows down my writing. Please fix the search bar so it recognises and prioritises direct citation keys again. Thank you.

    This seems to be a misunderstanding. Zotero didn't even have a Citation Key field until recently. I'd guess that you've been using the Better BibTeX plugin, which I think added citation key searching to the citation dialog. We can't help with that.

    But Zotero 10 should search the Citation Key field (which now exists for all item types) in the citation dialog. Make sure you're using that and that your citation keys are stored in the real Citation Key field.
