Upgrade StorageAndroid: Zotero stuck on loading placeholders – Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE

I've just installed Zotero for Android from the Google Play Store, but the app will not finish loading.
Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE (SM-T733)
Android version: 14
One UI version: 6.1
Zotero version: 1.0.0-247
When I open Zotero, the interface remains indefinitely on the grey loading/placeholder screen. I don't get a usable library interface.
My Zotero account and Web Library work normally in Chrome on the same tablet and Wi-Fi connection.
So far I have tried:
Force stopping Zotero and reopening it
Clearing the cache
Clearing the app data
Restarting the tablet
Testing with unrestricted battery usage
Completely uninstalling Zotero, restarting the tablet, and reinstalling Zotero from Google Play
The problem still occurs immediately after a completely fresh installation.
I've attached a photo showing the screen where Zotero gets stuck.
Is this a known issue with the Galaxy Tab S7 FE/Android 14, or is there anything else I can try?
