Zotero for Android not highlighting all the the text

I've been having this problem and it's incredibly frustrating as I bought an android tablet specifically for annotating in Zotero. I can't highlight all of a string of text, the last letter will never highlight.

Is there anything I can do about it? If not I'll have to see if I can return the tablet
