Editing my citation style in Word for Mac

Hi,
I use Zotero and it's word plugin on my Mac... when I insert a citation is does not give me the option of selecting my citation style. On the video tutorials is seems as if when windows users insert a citation using word, word gives them the option of picking their citation/referencing style (e.g. APA etc.). I don't seem to get that option.

Also, I have written a paper in APA format (using Zotero to enter my citations) but need to change to format in order to submit it to a journal (it needs to be changed to Harvard). Is there a way to change the reference style of the whole paper? I know that this can be done in EndNote, but can't work out how to do it using Zotero.

Advice appreciated!

Thanks
  • You get asked about the citation style by the plugin when you insert the first citation in a document - that's the same for all plugins regardless of operating system and word processor.
You can change the citation style at any later point by clicking "Set Document Preferences" in the word plugin.
  • brilliant, thanks so much!
