Android: save the annotation INTERNALLY in the pdf

@dstillman there is a need in a lot of Android PDF readers but i'v never found it no where

if we can have a selection option to save the annotaion INTERNALLY in the pdf in the webdav , maybe we can have a basic saveButton if for example pdf is so large ,
maybe it seems useles but things get serious if you use a SET of PDF readers and openners ..
please consider thinking about it ! ... thanks .

There will be a share button in a future version of the app that exports a copy of the file with annotations embedded. (This is possible in the iOS app but isn't yet available on Android.)

For day-to-day use, annotations are stored within the database, and that won't change.

the whole thing that im talking about is portability ,
that i 'OWN' my annotations ,
i used "Readest","koodoReader","KoReader" and etc.. and the problem they all have , is owning annotation in a simple "STANDARD GLOBAL" way is not possible ,

im talking about day-to-day use when for example people like me must deal with several PDF readers and openners and the best thing to stick with is the PDF Annotations Standards , i mean with the PDF's own standards we got a cool way to sharing all around !

(thats why i hate EPUB , no mature or ready global standard for annotations)

iagree that there are some limitation and maybe performance issue when writing annotations inside the PDF and we got to deal with huge PDFs and maybe autosave and asynchronous get tricky ... but we can make it manual.. for example simple save button or ..

(not the default options, a thing that can be turned on settings)

maybe it seems it distract the direction of development , but no thats not true !
we can have it as an "enableable" option somewhere ... and leave the default database settings of zotero on its default ...

im not saying the database annotations are bad or ... they are best
but im talking about a specific problem that solving it could make things more awesome !

As I say, it will be possible to export PDFs with annotations in a future version, and you can already do so with the desktop and iOS apps. The PDFs stored within Zotero will not have embedded annotations, for the reasons explained on the linked page.
