BadDigest Content-MD5 error when syncing files

I'm getting a persistent file-sync error in Zotero:

BadDigest - The Content-MD5 specified did not match what was received.

I have already:
- retried syncing multiple times
- confirmed the files open locally
- checked the web library
- reset the File Sync History
- Synced again

Error still occurs.

I'm using Zotero on Windows and also Zotero on Android.
