Feature Request: Resizable notes panel and persistent Notes tab in web library

I regularly use the Zotero Web Library (zotero.org) to read and edit notes on my literature items. Two limitations affect the workflow:


  1. Fixed width of the right panel
    The Notes panel is confined to the narrow right column and cannot be resized. For longer notes, the text area is narrow enough that vertical scrolling becomes frequent. A drag handle on the left edge of the panel would help.


  2. Notes tab closes when scrolling through the item list
    When I scroll through the item list in the middle column, the right panel collapses and switches back to the metadata view. I have to click the Notes tab again after every scroll.


Requested:


  • Resizable panel (drag the left edge of the right column to adjust width)

  • Notes tab stays active when navigating through the item list

  • Alternatively: open the note in the main (center) column, similar to the PDF view in the desktop app

System: Linux Mint, Firefox (latest)
