Upgrade StorageFeature request: Fuzzy search in the “Add Tags” input for items and annotations

I’d like to suggest improving the “Add Tags” input for items and annotations with fuzzy search.
Currently, when adding tags, it can be difficult to find the intended tag if I don’t remember its exact spelling or wording. A fuzzy/approximate search would make this much faster, especially in libraries with a large number of tags.
For example, if I type:
psycholgy → suggest #science/psychology
machine learn → suggest #concept/machine-learning
It would be particularly useful if the same fuzzy matching worked when adding tags to both items and annotations.
This could complement the existing tag search rather than replacing it, with exact matches still appearing first and fuzzy/partial matches shown below.
Would others find this useful? And is there already a setting, plugin, or planned feature that provides fuzzy matching in the “Add Tags” input?
