Upgrade StorageAdded a new reference (should be #54) but it is numbered #1
I am trying to add a reference to my manuscript in the middle of the document. It should be #54 but the reference number is #1 and it doesn't appear at all in the bibliography (even after I click on refresh).
The document was moved to Google Drive and one of my colleagues inserted comments. Is it possible than when I downloaded it from Google Drive, Zotero was unlinked in some way?

adamsmithYes, opening a Word doc in Google Docs will flatten references, I'm afraid.
