Feature Request: Allow Citation Locators to Appear in the Bibliography
I would like to request an option for Zotero to carry the page locator entered for an individual citation into the corresponding bibliography entry.
Current workflow
When I cite a specific statement from an article, I enter the exact page number in Zotero's citation dialog:
Locator: Page 147
Using a numeric/superscript style such as Vancouver, the document correctly displays:
...functional outcomes.^1
However, the bibliography does not retain the page number associated with that citation.
Desired functionality
I would like Zotero to provide an option that produces:
1. Smith JA, Jones BC. Multidomain interventions and functional outcomes. Journal of Alzheimer's Disease. 2024;45(2):120–155. p. 147.
The page number should come directly from the citation-specific locator entered when inserting the citation, rather than requiring the user to enter the page number again in the reference metadata.
