Upgrade StorageWord repeatedly crashing when inserting Zotero citations
Hi all,
I've been experiencing repeated Word crashes when inserting Zotero citations into a new document. Word closes immediately, without any prior warning or error message on screen — just shuts down.
Some details:

Zotero version: 9
What I've tried so far:
Reinstalled the Zotero Word plugin (manually removed Zotero.dot from the STARTUP folder and reinstalled)
Fully uninstalled and reinstalled Zotero itself
Moved the document outside of OneDrive/Dropbox-synced folders — no change
Copied all content (text + citations + automatic index) into a brand new blank Word document — crash still occurred afterward
Confirmed "Typing replaces selected text" is enabled in Word Options
No images/captions with citations in them
Track Changes is disabled
The crashes don't seem tied to a single citation or paragraph — they've happened across different sections of the document, though not on every citation insertion. This makes me think it might not be an isolated broken citation but something more systemic.
Any guidance would be much appreciated, as I'm working against a deadline and have already lost some unsaved work due to these crashes.

adomasven Zotero TeamAre you using any non-English spellchecking in Word, and does it still crash if you disable it, or switch to English?

Sara JZI uninstalled and reinstalled my Microsoft office package and since yesterday the crash didn't occur.
