Upgrade StorageCursor jumps occasionally when entering annotation texts

When I add an annotation (select text in a PDF document, choose an annotation color) and type to insert text, it occasionally happens that the cursor jumps around (e.g. from the end to one character before the end).
Just today, I had a case where this sudden jump also influenced formatting (a bold text was replaced with the same text, non-bold, but prefixed with and suffixed with ). I believe that this happens more the faster you type, but I have not yet reached a conclusion on this.
