APA 7 citation incorrectly shows two authors before “et al.”
Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with Zotero’s APA 7 citation style.
For a source with three or more authors, Zotero currently generates an in-text citation like: (Author A, Author B, et al., YYYY)
However, according to APA 7, I would expect: (Author A et al., YYYY)
I have already selected APA 7th edition as the citation style in my document, but the problem persists. I have also tried changing the citation style and checking the author information in Zotero, but I have not been able to resolve the issue.
Could someone explain why Zotero is including the second author and how I can fix this?
Thank you!
