Google Docs: “A word processor integration command is already running” – Debug ID D212243991
I am having a persistent problem with Zotero integration in Google Docs. When I select Zotero → Add/Edit Citation, Zotero starts displaying “Zotero is updating your document. Please wait…” but the process never completes.
If I try Add/Edit Citation again, Zotero displays the message: “A word processor integration command is already running.”
The problem also occurs in a new, empty Google Docs document, so it does not appear to be related to my original manuscript.
I have already tried restarting Zotero and Chrome, disabling other Chrome extensions, disabling and re-enabling the Zotero Connector, and restarting Zotero. Zotero and the Zotero Connector are updated.
The debug output showed HTTP 503 Service Unavailable and “Integration transaction is already in progress.”
Debug ID: D212243991
System: Windows 10, Google Chrome, Google Docs, Zotero 9.0.6 (64-bit), Zotero Connector 5.0.211.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to reset the stuck integration transaction or troubleshoot this issue further.
