Upgrade Storageepub page reformatting on IOS
I’m new to Zotero and really enjoying it so far, but there’s one thing that’s been bothering me. When I tap the middle of the screen while reading an epub, the page shifts to make room for the top menu and the page number at the bottom — and the text I was just reading jumps to a different position.
I’ve been reading a few longer epubs (a couple of hundred pages) and highlighting as I go. But if I mistap - maybe I press slightly too far left when trying to turn the page, or I don’t hold long enough to start a highlight -the interface appears, the layout adjusts, and suddenly the sentence I was focused on has moved.
I understand why it happens... showing the menu takes up screen space. Still, it feels like there should be enough room to display those controls without shifting the text around. It’s surprisingly disruptive when you’re trying to read smoothly.
