Missing icons

Sorry if this is trivial but I have spend a few hours trying to figure it and failing!

I am using 2.0.3. My initial problem was trying to find the Trash icon. While looking for it, (and failing) I noticed that the top of my Zotero display is different from what is shown in the screen shots. for example, my little row of icons doesn't have the one that looks like a binocular and is first on the screencast tutorials(and old Zotero) isn't on mine. What is going on?

The trash icon should be below your lowest collection (but above any group collections that you might have) in the left-had pane of Zotero.

The icons have changed between 1.5 (the version used for the screencast) and 2.0.
