Zotero adding "ahead of print" to citation whenever DOI is included in entry

I have an entry like this:

I am using the word add-in with style CMS 18th edition (notes and bibliography). When the DOI is included in the entry, Zotero for some reason adds the words "ahead of print" to the note as follows

Leo Yan, “Seeming Incomparability and Rational Choice,” Politics, Philosophy & Economics, ahead of print, June 3, 2022, Sage UK: London, England, https://doi.org/10.1177/1470594X221100568.

When I delete the DOI, it omits this extra wording

I imagine this is a bug in the latest version of Zotero? I would like to keep my DOIs without having silly wording added to my citations. Any solutions?

It's the specific style, and not Zotero in general, that uses heuristics to recognize ahead of print publications.
In this case it's the presence of a DOI and the absence of Volume, issue, and pages. If you include any combination of them (the article as published has all three) the ahead of print text will go away.
