Zotero not opening after installation

I downloaded Zotero on my new PC windows 8.1, but did not open or launch after the installation, leaving me in a big confusion. I have been using Zotero for over 6 years and never experience such issues before now.

    Zotero requires Windows 10 or later. Windows 8.1 came out in 2013. Microsoft itself ended mainstream support for Windows 8.1 in 2018 and ended extended support in 2023.
