Upgrade StorageNew Plugin: Audit, organize, repair, rename, and manage linked attachments
Hello everyone,
My name is Brian J Griffith. I am an Assistant Professor at California State University, Fresno. I recently decided to get my Zotero collection cleaned up, after years of not keeping things very well organized, but when I went to activate an old plugin that I had come to rely on (Author Folder Organizer by Emiliano Heyns) I found that it wasn't compatible with newer versions of Zotero. So I uploaded the XPI to ChatGPT and asked it to update the code for the latest version of Zotero, which worked! But then I realized that there were additional features that I'd like to implement. Well, fast forward through 11 hours of vibe coding and I came up with StorScan - a plugin that audits, organizes, repairs, renames, and manages linked attachments in Zotero collections.

It reorganized my collection very nicely, saving me weeks of clean up. While I have tested it extensively, I am looking for collaborators to help manage and further develop this plugin, as I suspect that many others will need an attachment management tool like this one.
