Add/Edit Bibliography replaces first citation and breaks Add/Edit Citation in Word

Environment:

Zotero 9.0.6 (64-bit)
Microsoft Word Version 2606 (Build 16.0.20131.20112) 64-bit
Windows 11 26200
Report ID: 205225864

Steps to reproduce:

Open a new blank Word document.
Insert a citation using Add/Edit Citation.
Click Add/Edit Bibliography.

Expected:
A bibliography is selected and inserted at the cursor position.

Actual:
Zotero replaces the existing citation instead of inserting a bibliography. After that, Add/Edit Citation no longer inserts new citations and shows the message "You must place the cursor in a Zotero citation to edit it."
If the cursor is moved to a new blank line and I click Add/Edit Bibliography, a bibliography of all citated Sources on the document appears. I cannot insert singular Bibliographys or Bibliographys of Soources, that do not already exist as Citations.

This happens in a brand-new document after restarting both Word, Zotero and the Computer I use.
