Zotero suddenly not working in any Word doc for any reference

Have been happily using Zotero all day. 80 references gone in nicely. Then I added a source in Zotero and tried to insert it. Got the 'Zotero experienced a fault' pop up. Tried again. No luck. Tried changing the type of source from eg report to book section. No luck. Tried in a new word doc. Every time I try to enter any reference at all (including those that have worked all day) I get the same error pop up. I have tried closing both Word and Zotero and re-opening with no luck.

Any suggestions?
