Upgrade StorageWord plugin IEEE style does not number new citations according to order of first appearance
In my Word document with already 60 references in IEEE style I added a new citation in the middle of the document. Now, the new reference was just added at the end of the bibliography as [61], instead of according to its first appearance, which would be 30. Inserting another new citation earlier or later in the document does change only the new numbers accordingly, the old citations stay the same. As if there are now two separate bibliographies, one that starts at 1 and one that starts at 61.
The old citations are still active (grey fields), and I can modify them and old and new citations are grouped together and listed in one bibliography.
Refreshing the bibliography or deleting and inserting a new one does not help.
I use Zotero 9.0.6 and Microsoft® Word für Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2605 Build 16.0.20026.20166) 64 Bit

hektopascalYikes, never mind. I did not realize that the whole other half of the document had no new references. It was all behaving properly the whole time.
