Zotero Android--sync with desktop library
This may have been answered, and if it's "no", please consider this a feature request.
I have a 30 gb zotero data folder on my laptop (MacOS, if it matters). Normally that laptop goes with me where ever I might need Zotero. However, I'm going on a trip for the next little while where I need to use both my android tablet and Zotero. I'd like to carry just my tablet (weight reasons, mainly), but I'd really like to have my Zotero library with me. I could buy space on Zotero Storage, but I have about 90GB free on my Google Drive (and I get it free with my phone plan), so I'd like to use that. I could just copy my library up, but I don't see anyplace in the UI which links items to their storage locations in Zotero/storage/. However, given the way you've structured the database, that's a tough query to write, and I'm lazy, and would prefer to go through the front door, anyway.
What I'd like to do is copy my Zotero directory from my laptop to my tablet, and have access to all my pdfs. Failing that, to sync my directory to Google Drive. But I'd really like a solution that will work without internet, as for part of this trip, I won't have internet access.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Walt Knowles

dstillman Zotero Teamedited yesterday at 5:47pmNo, the internal storage mechanisms of the desktop app and the Android app are totally unrelated. The way to do this is via Zotero file syncing. (The Android app downloads files on demand by default, so you don't need 30 GB locally on the device, but all the files do need to be either in Zotero Storage or on a WebDAV server.)
