Upgrade StorageSave button flickers but nothing saved to library (Firefox)

I'm having trouble saving pages with the Zotero Connector in Firefox. Here's what I've observed:
Zotero Desktop is running (confirmed connection via http://127.0.0.1:23119/connector/ping, which returns "Zotero is running")
The connector icon correctly shows the expected symbol depending on page type (Z icon for regular pages, PDF icon for PDF pages)
When I click the button, the icon briefly flickers
No save notification/popup appears in the Zotero Desktop app
Nothing appears in "My Library" afterward
Right-clicking the connector icon doesn't reveal a notification of the save target either
I've generated a Debug ID for this: D1021791667
Setup: [Windows 11 / Zetero 9.0.6 (64-bit)]
Any idea what might be causing this?

Note: After enabling debug logging and clicking the connector button again, the save actually worked this time (previously it flickered but nothing was saved). Not sure what changed, but wanted to share in case it's useful.
One odd thing: the toolbar icon shows the PDF icon even when I have a regular webpage open (not a PDF). I only see the normal Z icon when I right-click and open "Preferences".
