Maintain latex citation keys within Zotero

I use Latex fairly exclusively for my work. I am fine with having to periodically export the bibliography from Zotero, but having my citation keys reset every export is a serious problem. This presents the problem of having existing references receiving a new citation key every time I export, which can lead in text citations to be no longer valid, or can reassign an existing key to a new reference. This requires that I keep an independent copy of each of my citation keys to confirm them after an export.
