Upgrade Storage[iPadOS App] Support for Ink-Based Collapsible Annotations on PDF
I am writing to request an improvement for the Zotero iPad app regarding annotation workflows.
Currently, the PDF reader provides excellent support for handwriting directly on the document. However, when using the "sticky note" annotation tool, handwriting is not supported, the tool forces text input.
Proposed functionality:
It would significantly improve my research workflow if the collapsible sticky note annotations supported the same ink/handwriting tools available for marking up the main body of the paper. This would allow for more fluid, visual note-taking without cluttering the PDF interface.
Maintaining consistency between the primary PDF layer and the annotation cards would be a major quality-of-life upgrade for iPad users who rely on the Apple Pencil. Thank you for your consideration!
