File Not Found
Hello, I'm having a problem with finding my linked PDFs. I save pdfs from Chrome through the Zotero Chrome extension, but the pdfs that I manually download to my computer and link through Zotero show up as gray icons, with a "File Not Found" error. Upon closer inspection, these files were originally all automatically saved to one file: Zotero>Storage>94PMDEUY. There are a bunch of other random folders under storage but the files only saved to this one! I'm using an old office Mac, so it bugged and got rebooted. After it got rebooted I redownloaded the chrome extension and now all my files save to a random other folder. I didn't think much of it until my boss pointed out that many of these files were gray and inaccessible. How to fix this? Additionally, in the future, we want to be able to have these files be viewed on multiple computers. How to ensure this?
Upgrade Storage
Restart in Troubleshooting Mode (Help → "Restart in Troubleshooting Mode…”), which temporarily disables all plugins. If that fixes it, you'll need to identify the plugin that's causing it and then report the problem to the plugin's developer.
If not, provide a Debug ID from Zotero for two separate saves.
