Upgrade Storagecopying notes from a record in a group to a record in my library
Hi folks
I captured a reference in My Library.
I dragged it into a group and added a note to it there.
But now I realize I want to have the note in My Library too.
I don't see how to copy a note.
I could drag the note to nest under a different record in the group, but I can't drag it into My Library.
I tried to drag parent record to My Library; that looked like it would work (no "no dropping here" icon), but My Library still has one and only one copy of the record, no note.
Aha! I moved the record in My Library to trash, and THEN I dragged the version with the note from the group library to My Library, and NOW I have the record including the note back in My Library.
I will post this anyway, for someone else who might be confused and to suggest to our wonderful developers -- maybe the technical approach to see if a dragged-in record is a duplicate could take into account not just the parent item but also any notes?
