possible version to use Zotero for Windows 8 machine?

I saw the message "Zotero 7 is no longer able to log in for syncing". But the version 9.0.5 cannot run on my Windows 8 machine.

Are there any way to be able to sync, from a Windows 8 machine?

    I'm afraid nothing. Windows 8 is 3 years past end of life and you can't expect software to continue supporting it. I thought W10 was a free update, though?

    You should upgrade to a newer version of Windows (or get a new computer if that's not possible). Windows 8.1 was released in 2013, and Microsoft itself stopped supporting it in January 2023.

    You can temporarily set up syncing by resetting your password, but we can't provide any further support for Zotero 7.
