Upgrade StorageAndroid: epub: dark mode: top and bottom bar uses bright color
Thanks again for epub / html support on android, a major puzzle piece making the setup so much more complete and useful. Still amazed, this finally landed.
With Appearance set to automatic I found the top and bottom bar to still use light color unexpectedly:

Curiously after switching to "dark" the top bar became dark indeed, while the bottom bar remained bright. Top bar even stayed dark after switching back to automatic (as expected). So that's great, while the bottom bar remained bright.
Would be nice to have both bars follow system for automatic and become dark / light when set to corresponding appearance.
After opening another epub file both bars are back to bright when set to automatic, while system is set to dark mode. So there is some inconsistency.
