Zotero 7.0

I have Zotero 7.0 which (unfortunately is the only version available to me through my organization). I had to change my password and no I can no longer sync. I have tried multiple passwords and attempts and I am at a loss for what to try next.
  • For security reasons, older versions are no longer able to log in for syncing, except immediately after a successful password reset.
  • I understand that. I saw that on a discussion forum. That is not working, I have tried three times and three password changes and the app will not let me sync. So at this point in time, do I need to assume that the above statement is no longer true? If I am missing something in this "new security process" please advise.

It's still true, which is why I just said it.

Note that you just posted from a second account. Make sure you're trying with the correct account.

But the proper fix is to upgrade to the current version of Zotero. You should speak to your IT department. Zotero 7 is no longer supported.

You also can't log in with an old app if you've added a security key to your account. That's an affirmative indication that you want your account protected by more than just a username and password, which rules out old versions of the app.
