Can't add citation plus error
Hello,
I am experiencing serious problems with Zotero and Microsoft Word.
My document is a thesis of about 60 pages with many Zotero citations. Recently, Zotero stopped working properly:
I cannot add new citations using "Add/Edit Citation".
I cannot generate or update the bibliography using "Add/Edit Bibliography".
When I try to edit or update the bibliography, my entire bibliography disappears.
Refreshing the document often causes Microsoft Word to freeze or become unresponsive.
Zotero repeatedly displays messages such as:
"You have modified this citation since Zotero generated it."
"Original: 59, Modified: 60"
I also found and removed a corrupted "{Citation}" field in the document.
In a new blank Word document, Zotero sometimes inserts RTF code instead of a normal citation, for example:
{\rtf \super 1\nosupersub{}}
I am using:
Zotero version 9
Microsoft Word on Windows
Citation style: NLM/Vancouver: Citing Medicine 2nd edition (citation-sequence, superscript)
Could anyone help me identify whether this is caused by a corrupted citation field, a damaged citation style, or a Word add-in problem?
Thank you very much.
