2 copies of Zotero

Hi, when I open Zotero, it seems to always open 2 copies (based on the sidebar and an error message I get). It also doesn't seem to want to update when I check for new versions. I am running Zotero 6.0.30 on a Mac OS Tahoe 26.5.1. Thanks!

    Zotero 6 hasn't been supported in years. Delete Zotero from Applications and reinstall Zotero 9 from the download page. Your data won't be affected.
