Double dates: Rūmī and Gregorian calendars
Zotero v. 9.0.4
CMOS 18
Is there a way to list double dates in citations? The following bibliographical entry is for an atlas in Ottoman Turkish. The publication date corresponds to the Rūmī calendar year 1325, that is, 1909. Ideally, the publication date in the citation would read “1325 [1909]”. As you can see, inputting “1325” into the “original date” field doesn’t really work here as the year should follow the publisher (Kitābçı ḳāsım).
Eşref, Meḥmed, Meḥmed Rüşdī, and Meḥmed Naṣrullāh. Coġrāfiyye-i muḫtaṣar atlasī. Mekātib-i i̇btidāʾiyye maḫṣūṣ. 1325; Kitābçı ḳāsım, 1909.
Is there another workaround?
Thanks.
