Formatting of In-Text Citations
Hi! I'm having an issue with my in-text citations (using APA 7th edition and the zotero extension for google docs) that I can't figure out.
When I choose my reference, it appears in the search box as I'd expect: (Author-last-name et al., year). But in the actual text, many of my citations show up differently—sometimes it adds author initials, and sometimes it adds a second author followed by et al., for a paper with a list of more than two authors. I've checked the information for the relevant references in my actual zotero library, and everything looks normal.
I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer!
