Hover popup for abbreviations in PDFs
Hi,
In most papers, abbreviations are defined once near the beginning, but then used throughout the rest of the paper. When I forget what an abbreviation means or just skim the paper, I have to search back to the first occurrence, which interrupts the reading flow.
It would be really helpful if Zotero could detect common patterns like "Full Term (FT)" and then show the meaning when hovering over "FT" later in the PDF, similar to how hover popups already work for citations or figures.
I saw this was mentioned before here:

I think even basic support for abbreviations defined inside the same PDF would be very useful, especially for long papers.
Would this be feasible as a Zotero feature, or maybe as a plugin?
